Caleb  Langridge has made the Koru New Zealand Basketball Under 14 team as a reserve, quite an achievement being only 11 and he also made the  J3 Silverdale rep rugby  team. A true Elite Athelete.

Ten Wentworth Sports Scholarships have been awarded to all those who applied from the Elite Squad and a special academic Scholarship has been awarded to one of our members also.  Congratulations to you all and we wish you all the best for your future schooling.

Mia Cunningham-South, Jazmin Tufuga, Tayla Flatt and Leilani Schmidt-Geen have enjoyed a fantastic result with 3 wins in the Under 13’s Girls Hibiscus Coast Rep team at the Prems Tournament held at North Shore Event Centre over the weekend which now qualifies them to go to Nationals in Napier in October.

Meet at the Whangaparaoa Golf Club 3.30pm kitted out in full uniform with your manager, coach and umpire.  Photos cost $15, to be paid on or before the day to your manager.

Snow sports at 4.15pm in your warm gear.

Our wonderful year 8 team are holding special skills and training sessions for our littlies to gain some confidence in netball.

They are held at GH school netball courts every Tuesday Lunch time after the food bell.

The league starts September 7th so it is time to grab some mates and register.  We will provide you with a POD trophy, uniforms and team organisation.  Games are played at Victor Eaves Park in Orewa and cost $50 incl uniform +sgh Membership fees.  League finishes December 9th.

All ages can play, grades are:

Year 1&2
Year 3&4
Year 5&6
Year 7&8
Year 9-13

With the super city merger, the Leisure Centre has asked us to reitierate to our members the importance of supervision.  

We have agreed to ensure all our members under the age of 10 years old are supervised at all times.  Our team managers are sufficient to cover this but we do need to ensure this is carried out.
