I am married with two very fine girls 15 and 17 years of age. For over 35 years I have now been doing accounting and bookkeeping work for various companies and individuals and had a wonderful time doing it. I will not bore you with details of my work history but only to say that I have worked for some reasonable sized companies. I have also owned my own businesses since 1988 and been very successful. Currently I am a registered tax agent and have been for four years. Currently I have two staff working for me on a number of various things including taxation, data entry and some client visitation as well.

I became aware of Accounting AA back in 2007 when I answered an advert from Kim and from that point on I have watched with interest. I tried to buy the company in Dec 08 only to find out that it was sold to Brad Karp. However, I received an email in June 09 that it was on the market again because the purchaser was leaving for Melbourne due to changes in personal circumstances.

Accounting AA Limited was built up and based on Management Accounting and bookkeeping services. It is these services which are dear to Brians's heart. Not only does Accounting AA do the bookkeeping for various clients and some tax returns as well but it is in the business of training, and helping businesses to use their MYOB accounting software as a management tool.

By helping our clients to understand what it is that they are doing in MYOB and why, they then can make informed decisions on the running of their businesses. Accounting AA is first and foremost a service provider and we believe that it is best to keep all things simple in approach of this service.

Brian has run his own Accounting and bookkeeping service for the past four years and Accounting AA fits into the mould very well which is why he bought this business. It is well structured and staffed with some very good people.
 

Accounting AA would like to introduce Resham Ruston who works in the office. Resham has tax expertise from previously working for the IRD and is a great asset in preparing year end accounts and tax returns.

Anne who has worked with Accounting AA from Kim’s Ownership, is still managing many of the existing clients monthly work and payroll.
 

Brian would like to bring the prices into line with his other clients and as a result the pricing will now be as follows:

Consulting charge out rate reduced from $120 to $100 per hour +gst

Flat site visit charge reduced from $80 to $50 +gst

Monthly Transaction rate stays at $50+gst per hour

Monthly Payroll preparation rate is $70+gst per payroll
