With the first rays of Summer on our faces we all think of all the little and not so little jobs we would like done to our homes before xmas, so that the new year starts fresh and a least a few ticks crossed off the to-do list.

With the base design of this modern seaside property already completed, the clients wanted to update the interior with soft furnishings and furniture to give a new look to the entrance, the large living areas both upstairs and downstairs, and the bedrooms.

Featured here is the upstairs living which has an outlook towards the sea, to compliment this, clear aqua colours were combined with lime and white in the fabrics to give a fresh burst of energy. This was grounded by the chocolate colours in the fabric on the sofas and dining chairs. The client wanted to retain a light contemporary seaside feeling and the wood in some of the furniture was whitewashed to achieved this. Texture, colour and bold pattern combined to revitalise this living space.
